Bassina Farbenblum, the director of the migrant and refugee rights program at the Australian Human Rights Centre, is calling for compensation for the young Indonesians whose rights have reportedly been breached by Australian authorities.
Bassina has also been invited to testify at the Senate Legal and Constitutional Affairs References Committee's public hearing for the committee’s inquiry into the detention of Indonesian minors in Australia on 24 August. For more on this subject and to listen to an audio broadcast, click here.
